I loved so many things about Angie & Aaron’s wedding. When we got to Puerto Vallarta we had never met Angie or Aaron but the second that we arrived we felt completely welcomed into their amazing circle of family and friends, who had rented out an entire boutique resort for their wedding! It was such a memorable weekend full of so much love and joy. Almost 4 years later, this is still one of my favorite weddings I have ever photographed!
Since then, we’ve kept in touch and last year they became parents to a beautiful little girl! I love being able to witness the beginning of a family on a wedding day and the growth of that family throughout the years. It makes what I do so rewarding. So as I was looking through adorable photos of their little girl on Facebook I decided I had to feature Angie & Aaron’s wedding on the blog and ask her a few questions for fun!
Thank you so much for asking us to be a part of your wedding, Angie & Aaron. You are some of the kindest and most genuine people that I know and, from the bottom of my heart, I wish you an amazing lifetime together
I always love hearing what photos are favorites of my couples, so what are some of your favorite photos from your wedding day?
How can I narrow it down? I love them all so much! But here are a few: the one of Aaron and his mom dancing, the shot where Aaron is holding up my dress for me, the one where I am coming around the corner with the parasol…Seriously, I could go on and on… (keep scrolling to see her favorites!)
Aaron had such an amazing reaction when he saw his bride walking down the aisle to him. It’s a moment I’ll never forget.
I think they love each other :)
What is a piece of advice you would give to brides-to-be about planning their wedding?
Relax. Seriously. The moments that you love and cherish will have nothing to do with the favors, or programs, or where you sat people.
The black and white photo of Aaron holding up Angie’s dress as they walk away from their ceremony has been the most requested shot by my brides over the last 4 years, hands down!
What is a piece of advice you would give to brides-to-be about marriage?
Always appreciate each other. Say thank you for the little things as well as the big things. Never take anything for granted. And always treat your spouse as #1. That last one gets a little harder when you have a baby, but we still try to do it :)
What is one thing you love most about your husband?
He can get along with anyone. Everyone loves him. And I never have to worry about him at parties, even when he doesn’t know a soul there. He is always able to strike up conversations and come away with friends. I can’t tell you how many times people tell me how great he is, and I absolutely agree.
What was your favorite part of your wedding day?
Walking out and seeing Aaron at the end of the aisle, the pictures we took of just the two of us before the reception, and the fireworks!
Yes, they had surprise fireworks on the beach, just for their wedding! None of their guests knew until they started going off and it was such a magical moment!
This wedding knew how to party! Aaron ended up going behind the bar to “bartend” and got Angie’s mom to do a shot! So funny!
No better way to end a wedding night than jumping in the pool!
Thanks, Kristyn! What a great trip down memory lane <3
Two of the most awesome people i’ve ever met :)
