I love shooting engagement sessions. I love capturing the relationship between two people preparing to spend the rest of their lives together. I photograph engagement sessions as lifestyle sessions by incorporating locations, props and styles that capture the feel and the core of who two people are together, how they interact, how they spend their time together and what they mean to each other. There are so many beautiful locations all over Nashville and I love finding all the little amazing backdrops in and around the city. Randi & Dan’s Sailing Engagement Session
Randi & Dan are a classic, fun couple. When Randi mentioned they liked to go sailing together I was so excited and love the modern day Kennedy feel of who they are together.

Aaron & Carissa are adorable together. They love art, meaning and beauty. And of course, each other! This engagement session is all those things and just makes me supremely happy whenever I look at it :)

I love this session because it feels like a sweet afternoon at the park. They brought their adorable puppy, splashed around in the water and just spent time together. Love.

Marcel and Bonnie wanted a garden feel for their engagement session so we went to the beautiful CJ’s off the Square in Franklin, TN to capture their unique love. They are so sweet to each other and to everyone around them. And they know how to laugh together, number one in importance in my book!

Kristen & Donald grew up on farms in Upstate New York and love the fall. What better place to celebrate their relationship than a pumpkin patch?!?! Perfection :)
