Allison loves Spencer. And Spencer simply adores Allison. I think I could say just this and it would sum up everything about their wedding day. There was the laughter and excitement as they got ready, the sweet vows they promised to each other as Allison’s father married them in front of their friends and family, the dances under a tent set in the gorgeous Tennessee countryside of Owl Creek, and the many many hugs and smiles from family & friends who love and care so much for each other. These things we witnessed and documented with honor. But what I will remember most from that day is the few minutes after Allison & Spencer were married as they walked out into the open field from their ceremony…Their friends & family followed to congratulate them but for just a few minutes it was only them in the world. Before the congratulations began & the party started, it was just the two of them…and I caught a glimpse of how deeply Allison & Spencer love and enjoy one another. How happy they were to belong to each other. And that was what their wedding day was about. Allison’s dad walked her down the aisle and then married them. Pretty special. Moments after they were pronounced husband & wife. Their first dance was so sweet!
