I got on the plane tired and overwhelmed. This year has been amazing in so many ways and with that has come a need for a few days of rest. But when my friend called me and said “Will you come with us to take 700 family photos in a small village in the Dominican Republic?” I just couldn’t say no. So I got on a plane to the Dominican. Six days later I walked off the plane to go back home. Again, tired and overwhelmed, but in a completely different way. Those six days in the village of La Represa changed me. I’m still processing how to explain it in words so I’ll let these photos I took around La Represa do the talking.

Awwww these are wonderful! You are such a kind person – it shows in everything that you do.
Can’t even put into words how these pictures moved me – thank you for sharing:)
Beautiful! Such adorable kids.
These pictures are priceless! I had tears in my eyes just like the little girl with the empty dish.
All I can say is that now I know what it’s like to look at the world with Jesus’ eyes. I truly believed your pictures captured what He sees.
oh, kristyn… some of my favorite of your work i’ve seen… so beautiful and rich….
These look amazing! Wish I could’ve been able to experience the joy was brought to these families.
