Nashville Engagement Session ◦ EMILY & BRAD

When Emily’s cousin introduced his Vanderbilt college roommate, Brad, to his family, they all decided that Brad would be a perfect fit for Emily, who was in high school at the time. Emily’s grandmother & mother began dropping hints to Emily about what a great guy he was but nothing came of it. Emily eventually attended Vanderbilt as well and years later, after both Emily & Brad had graduated, they met up at her cousin’s engagement party where they finally began to talk. And kept talking. It took many years for Emily’s family to be able to say “I told you so!” but when you see them together now, you can see, they were always meant to be. We loved spending the afternoon with these two on Vanderbilt’s campus, where their paths first crossed. As we walked amongst the beautiful campus, Brad was retelling the story of how they connected for the first time at the party. He had to travel across states to attend the party but without hesitation said, “It’s the best decision I ever made.” That kind of love will last a lifetime and it was an honor to capture moments of that truly great love they share.
