I love engagement sessions! I love that we get to hang out with such amazing people and capture the real connection they share. We really do have the best couples on the planet! Amanda & David knew right away what they wanted to incorporate into their photos- hockey, cold weather & coffee. David is from Colorado and Amanda is from Wisconsin so they both grew up in wintry weather. David is a strength and conditioning coach for the Nashville Predators, Amanda coaches youth hockey and they met on the ice. And well, they love coffee :) I love that this session says so much about them. How they met, what they love to do together and who they are as a couple, as friends and as future husband and wife. Absolutely can’t wait for their wedding!

We started off on the ice and I love how much fun they have together! And how much better skaters they are than I! :) And of course, love Amanda’s Wisconsin Badgers attire. Then we headed outside. It’s not so bad to be in the cold when you have someone to cuddle up and stay warm with :) These photos just make me happy.And then inside to warm up! What a great afternoon!

Barbara Good - These photos are just beautiful – I may be a bit biased, but as Mom of David and loving the thought of being Mom-in-law to the adorable Amanda it brings me so much joy to see my “kids”. It’s difficult not to be there for the preparation for the wedding, but clearly the right talent has been enlisted. Thank you Kristyn for doing this so beautifully and thoughtfully.
