When I met Randi for the first time, I immediately loved her personality, style and genuineness. When I asked her to think about things she and Dan love to do together and she said sailing, Matt & I got just a tad excited (understatement). If you know us very well you know that one of our lifelong dreams is to buy a sailboat and just sail wherever the wind takes us. So as I thought about Randi & Dan and what to do for their engagement session, this image immediately came to mind: 
So I asked Randi if she’d be up for doing their photos at a sailboat marina. I had a feeling that this look would be perfect for them but I didn’t say anything about what to wear or my inspiration for the shoot because I wanted to see their personal style shine through. So you can imagine my excitement when they showed up as my modern day Kennedys. 
I can’t wait for their wedding this October in Nashville! I know it is going to be completely fabulous, so much fun and full of genuine love for each other and those around them. We had so much fun with Dan & Randi that I’ll have to break their session up into two parts. We decided after it got dark to head into downtown Nashville to grab a few shots in the city lights so those photos will come later. For now, I hope you enjoy these as much as I do :)
